A Family Business Built on Performance
Gandy Angus is a family-run Black Angus stud located at Diamond Tree in Western Australia. Established by Kim in 1986, the operation has grown to 400 registered females and has been built over four decades on a simple principle: deliver consistent,
high-performing genetics backed by genuine customer service.
Today, Kim and Lex run the stud with the same commitment to quality that started nearly 40 years ago. Their daughters Romy and Lola are growing up in the operation, representing the next generation of the family business.
Our Approach
We focus on breeding functional, productive cattle that perform in commercial conditions. Our selection decisions are based on data, proven bloodlines, and traits that matter to our clients—fertility, longevity, eating quality, and temperament.
Docility is a priority in our breeding program. We believe quiet, easy-to-handle cattle are safer to work with and more productive in the long run. Every animal we sell reflects that commitment to temperament alongside performance.
We've built our reputation by being honest about our cattle, standing behind what we sell, and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients. Many of the breeders and commercial producers we work with have been buying from us for decades.
What We Offer
We sell over 100 bulls annually through our two annual auctions, along with stud females and bulls by private sale throughout the year. Whether you're looking for herd sires, stud females, or commercial bulls, we're here to help you find genetics that suit your program. We take time to understand what you're trying to achieve and match you with cattle that will work for your operation.
